Makeup lessons at Riviera Beauty are suitable for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners, to aspiring and professional makeup artists. They’re ideal for anyone wishing to refresh their routine, improve existing skills, try new products, or simply break out of a 'makeup rut'. Lessons are also perfect for brides getting married abroad, holiday-goers without access to a MUA, creative teens and children, or those looking to enjoy an interactive session with a friend. What to expect

Each lesson begins with an introduction to Sophie’s go-to products, brushes and techniques, followed by a guided, step-by-step tutorial where you’ll create one full look (or two), depending on your chosen package. Sophie demonstrates on one side of your face while you complete the other, offering expert tips and personalised adjustments throughout. Lessons can be tailored towards natural, glam or creative styles, with live-model options available for aspiring artists and professionals. Sessions run Monday–Friday and Sundays.

What's included

Every lesson includes a hands-on tutorial with Sophie, full access to our professional artistry kit and a personalised product and brush list emailed after your session. A pair of false strip lashes is included (excluding Makeup Playdate sessions). Pro-MUA lessons also feature tips and demonstrations on creating Instagrammable photography to elevate your portfolio.

Optional extras

Enhance your experience with optional add-ons such as double lessons with a friend, bringing your current makeup bag for product advice, purchasing a gift voucher, or adding a personalised step-by-step guide (+£25). A digital certificate of completion is also available (+£5).

​Terms & Conditions

Lessons are exclusive to the client, with only the client and Sophie present during the session, unless booked as a double lesson with a friend. For Teens Intro and Makeup Playdates, a parent or guardian is welcome to attend, though this is optional.

If a model is required for demonstration purposes, Sophie will provide one.

All deposits and gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Makeup lessons are for personal learning only and do not qualify as a certified makeup qualification.

To confirm your makeup lesson, a 50% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required via bank transfer, which will be deducted from your total balance. Provisional lesson appointments are held for 48 hours. If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the appointment slot may be released.
